Statement from Mind in Croydon’s CEO, Emma Turner, on behalf of the organisation

Recent news articles have spoken about Croydon Council’s “Asset Disposal” programme, this means that the Council are looking to sell certain buildings. One of these Council owned buildings is where Mind in Croydon operates Counselling and Carers Support services from in Purely, 26 Pampisford Road.

We are in the process of talking with the Council about our lease and what this means for us as sitting tenants. Even if the building is sold it might be that we are able to stay in the building and pay rent to a new owner.

We would like to reassure you all that Mind in Croydon remains fully open. All are services continue to be available to the residents of Croydon.

If you would like to discuss the Councils Asset Disposal scheme please speak with your local elected Councillor https://www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors and/ or your local MP https://members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP

Thank you for your ongoing support of Mind in Croydon.
