Sutton Council will be hosting a free online event on the 16 June at 6:30pm – open to all residents, particularly those from Black African and Black Caribbean communities across London.
The event will be an opportunity for those members of our community, who are hesitant to take up the Covid-19 vaccine to ask questions to our panel of Black clinicians and public health experts. We are delighted to be joined on the panel by Prof Kevin Fenton, Public Health England, Regional Director for London.
The event will be chaired by Cllr Ruth Dombey and the panel will include; Professor Kevin Fenton, Public Health England, Regional Director for London, Dr Nnenna Osuji, Medical Director and Chief Executive at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, and Dr Donald Palmer, Associate Professor of Immunology.
The panel will discuss the misconceptions and common myths about Covid-19, as well as provide accurate information.
